One of the many struggles of eating gluten-free is finding a decent pizza pie. Most gluten-free pizzas lack imagination and taste like cardboard, but I did manage to find a few gems to help satisfy that pizza craving. As with anything, there’s always a sacrifice.
Pizzas were graded based on crust, overall quality of ingredients, and price. I couldn’t find a single pie achieving all the criteria; although, the top pizza spot on my list came very close.
Dominos is surprisingly decent. It did better than quite a few places and is reasonably priced compared to other places on this list. In a pinch, it’s a convenient option.
4. Sicilian Oven
The crust isn’t anything to rave about at Sicilian Oven, but the ingredients are fresh and the pizza is baked in a coal oven. The flavorful toppings and quality ingredients make the crust bearable.
Recommended Pie: Pepperoni
3. Pizza Fusion
The fresh ingredients and unique combinations makes Pizza Fusion a decent choice when you are craving something original. The prices are reasonable as well.
Recommended Pie: Pear & Gorgonzola
2. Mellow Mushroom
Mellow Mushroom has amazing gluten-free pizza and some great combinations. Their pizzas are on the pricey side, but they are worth the splurge.
